Heathrow Apprenticeships and Careers Show is a new event taking place on Tuesday 31st March and Wednesday 1st April.
It’s an event with a single-minded purpose: helping people from our communities to find sustainable employment and apprenticeships within Team Heathrow.
The event showcases career and apprenticeship opportunities within some of the 413 companies that operate at Heathrow and work with the Heathrow Employment and Skills Academy.
There are thousands of different skills development opportunities and roles available with Team Heathrow and by 2030 an expanded Heathrow will provide 10,000 apprenticeships and new careers for up to 40,000 people.
Entry to the event is free.
Visitors can meet employers face-to-face, try their hand at a whole range of skills and gain a real understanding of the range of opportunities available and qualifications needed.
Employers can meet teachers, parents, young people and jobseekers from the boroughs surrounding Heathrow and demonstrate the different industries and skills at the Airport.
Workshops and seminars will also be available, highlighting the employability skills and attributes that Team Heathrow look for in candidates.
